Students learn the importance of a clean water supply, develop respect for a healthy environment and make a commitment to the sustainable use of natural resources. The York Children’s Water Festival promotes hands-on learning, away from a standard classroom setting.

The York Children’s Water Festival is a component of York Region’s Water for Tomorrow program and is organized in partnership with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. For more information on York Region’s water conservation initiatives, please visit
