York Region to provide information on Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV)

Newmarket – The Regional Municipality of York will host an information session on the novel coronavirus.

The Regional Municipality of York is actively monitoring the evolving novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) situation and is collaborating with local hospitals, emergency services, national, provincial and municipal partners.

There is no evidence of community spread in Canada and the risk of acquiring the virus in the community remains low for York Region residents. To date, there have been no confirmed cases in York Region.
