Veterans and one companion can ride free on YRT/Viva on Saturday, November 11, 2017

Newmarket – On Saturday, November 11, 2017, The Regional Municipality of York is pleased to offer free transit service throughout YRT/Viva and Mobility Plus to veterans and immediate family of a deceased veteran.

Veterans and one companion can ride free by identifying themselves to YRT/Viva and Mobility Plus operators by showing a uniform, medal, beret or blazer.
