YRT/Viva service changes take effect April 29



Newmarket – YRT/Viva service changes will take effect on Sunday, April 29, 2018. Changes will result in service enhancements improving connections and operational performance. Riders are encouraged to visit yrt.ca to review changes that may affect their travel plans, including various seasonal and frequency adjustments.

Route highlights/ service changes include:

  • Viva purple routing will be adjusted between Pioneer Village Terminal and York University
  • Routes 3, 96 and 107 /107B will no longer travel along Steeles Avenue and Founders Road between Pioneer Village and York University
  • Northbound Route 20 and 165 /165F trips will no longer travel along Steeles Avenue and Founders Road between York University and Pioneer Village
  • Route 589/590 – Richmond Hill Community Bus
    Service will be extended to Mon Sheong Court located at 11211 Yonge Street
  • Route 760 – Vaughan Mills/Wonderland
    Service to Canada's Wonderland will be reinstated on weekends and holidays
