YRT will get you around this holiday season

Newmarket – Leave the driving to York Region Transit (YRT) this holiday season and take advantage of the many benefits transit can offer. You can also ring in 2018 responsibly and safely while attending New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Be sure to check out the holiday service changes in effect from December 22, 2017 to January 6, 2018. New service changes will begin January 7, 2018.

Additionally, YRT will provide residents with free and safe transit service to and from their festivities on Sunday, December 31, 2017 after 7 p.m. Late-night service will be extended on select routes until approximately 5 a.m. Community Bus and Dial-a-Ride routes will follow regular schedules.

YRT offers local and rapid transit services throughout all nine cities and towns in York Region. More than 120 routes keep residents connected within York Region, as well as connecting to services in the City of Toronto and the Regions of Peel and Durham.
