One-on-one support for expectant and new parents

New parents, pregnant and first time moms may qualify for one-on-one support with a public health nurse through the Healthy Babies, Healthy Children program.

The Healthy Babies Healthy Children Program (HBHC) is a home visiting program, currently offered with a video conferencing option.  In this program, parents are connected with a public health nurse and a family visitor who offer support and services to meet the needs of parents on a number of topics that support their child’s healthy growth and development.

We also offer a home visiting program, delivered by public health nurses to support young, first time moms during their pregnancy and the first two years of their child’s life, through the Nurse-Family Partnership ® (NFP).
