Staying Cool With York Region Splash Pads

With York Region heating up this summer and currently in Stage 2 of the provincial re-opening, many splash pads are now open across our local cities and towns. Splash pads are a great way for the family to stay cool this summer!

Splash Pads are inspected by York Region Public Health Inspectors for sanitation and are in compliance with the Ontario Pool Regulation under the Health Protection and Promotion Act. Public Health Inspectors work with local cities and towns on general COVID-19 precautions to ensure residents throughout the Region can remain safe, while still enjoying activites they love.

Anyone planning to visit a splash pad should be aware of COVID-19 prevention guidelines and restrictions in place and follow public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The infographic below tells you how to stay safe while at the splash pads this summer:

Together, following public health guidelines, we can have a safe and fun summer!
