#YRStayConnected: Inspiring creative ways to stay connected

During this Blue Monday and a time when we must keep physically apart from those outside our household, staying connected with others is important for our well-being.

As public health measures continue, it’s important that we stay connected and check in on one another, especially with friends, loved ones or neighbours who may not be online or live alone. Although we cannot have close contact with friends or loved ones who live outside our household, there are many safe ways to stay in touch.

To help you get back in touch and stay connected with others in a safe and physically distanced way, we’ve developed some #YRStayConnected resources with ideas to help inspire you. Whether it’s sending a thoughtful card in the mail, calling an old friend or elderly relative, or joining a virtual book club, connections are always possible!

Visit york.ca/stayconnected for some inspiration on how to safely stay connected with others.

Tell us your connection ideas!

How are you connecting with loved ones, collaborating with colleagues or finding love in a creative, yet physically distanced way during the pandemic? We’d love to hear your ideas or stories!

Tell us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #YRStayConnected or comment on one of our #YRStayConnected social media posts.
