York Region is undertaking a Schedule ‘C’ Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study to address existing and future transportation needs for Kennedy Road from Steeles Avenue to Major Mackenzie Drive. The proposed improvements will help manage traffic congestion and assist the needs of pedestrians, cyclists, public transit users and motorists. The study area falls within the City of Markham.

The Regional Municipality of York is undertaking a Schedule ‘C’ Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Study to review the current and future transportation needs on Kennedy Road between Steeles Avenue and Major Mackenzie Drive in the City of Markham.

Public Open Houses
Throughout the duration of the EA Study, the public is encouraged to provide comments, feedback and submit questions regarding the project.
Open House 1 – Wednesday, February 21, 2018 and Thursday, February 22, 2018
The first Open House was held at Milliken Mills Community Centre and Angus Glen Community Centre both in the City of Markham. The following information was provided:
