U-Turn Restriction

City of Richmond Hill

Southbound traffic on Yonge Street north of Elgin Mills Road, at the entrance to Upper Yonge Place commercial plaza, is prohibited from making U-turns.

Effective, January 25, 2021 the U-turn restriction is in place at all times of the day.

This change improves safety by preventing conflicts between vehicles and YRT buses making wide U-turns.
