York Region is seeking applications to rent and operate services at the following locations. If you do not see a location of interest listed, you can complete an application for future rental locations as they become available.
The Queensway South
The Queensway South Development is located at 187-195 The Queensway South, Keswick. The development will include approximately 86 affordable housing units, including community, transitional and emergency housing options.
The space is anticipated to open in 2029. The facility has approximately 8,000 square feet of community space to accommodate both anchor and drop-in services including:
- Multiple (approximately 200 square feet) offices with access to shared spaces
- Several multi-use, flexible spaces that may be adapted to your needs, e.g. meetings, programming, workshops, etc.
- Layout may be customized to support your agency needs
Mosaic House
Mosaic House is located at 5676 Main Street, Whitchurch-Stouffville, and has 97 residential units containing a mix of families and seniors. The Community Space operator at Mosaic House will be able to support children, families, and/or seniors who may live on a low income.
The space is anticipated to open in early 2027. The facility has approximately 2,000 square feet of community space.
In you are interested in a drop in space, an adaptable space of 312 square feet is designed to accommodate a variety of activities such as meetings, programs, workshops, and office space.
Unionville Commons Seniors Hub
Unionville Seniors Hub will be located at 4310 Highway 7, Markham, on the ground floor of a new affordable rental building for seniors. The goal of the Seniors Hub is to promote age-friendly, complete communities while providing integrated services for seniors to age in place. All services in the Seniors Hub must be for seniors.
The space is anticipated to open in early 2027. The facility has approximately 12,000 square feet of community space.

For Drop-In Service Providers
If you are interested in drop-in spaces at Unionville Commons, the following options are available:
- Multi-Purpose Room with kitchenette, approximately 510 square feet
This multi-purpose room is equipped with a kitchenette and non-commercial appliances. It can hold catered events and contains a small food preparation area - Café/Servery/Lounge, approximately 865 square feet
This space is designed to support service and sales of pre-packaged, ready-to-eat foods and hot beverages such as coffee and tea - Multi-Purpose Room, approximately 435 square feet
This flexible, adaptable space is designed to accommodate a variety of activities such as meetings, programs, workshops and community events - Large Event Space, approximately 1,560 square feet
This space integrates a café/servery, lounge, multi‑purpose room and shared common area to support gatherings, programs and community events
