Online Prenatal Program
Prenatal education is an effective way for expectant parents to prepare for childbirth and the care of newborns. York Region Public Health offers anytime, anywhere education a program designed to give you convenient access to valuable information and supports. The online prenatal program is designed to help women and their partners or support persons prepare for labour, childbirth and caring for their new baby.
This program is available on any device.

This service is available to York Region residents at no cost.
Registration is required.
How to Register
Register online for the program and follow the instructions. Once you have registered, you will receive an email invitation from @email where you can create a unique password and login. You can also download the mobile app version by searching your app store for ‘myYoMingo’.

Community Prenatal Programs
- Ontario Directory of Prenatal Education
- La Leche League Canada provides free Prenatal Breastfeeding Classes offering preparation and education for expectant mothers and their partners. To register or inquire, please contact @email or call 905-252-5447.
- All Babies Count prenatal nutrition program is a free weekly program for women of all ages who need extra support during their pregnancy. Expecting mothers learn about nutrition, pregnancy and parenthood. These classes are led by public health nurses and nutrition educators.
