Accessibility Advisory Committee
The York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee (YRAAC) advises Regional Council and York Regional Police on how to make it easier for people with disabilities to use York Region's programs and services.
Committee members come from different backgrounds and most members must be people with disabilities.

Committee Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed for York Region’s 2023 to 2026 Accessibility Advisory Committee. If you are interested in accessibility issues, are a York Region resident with a disability or work with residents with disabilities in York Region, you are encouraged to apply.
Applications will be accepted until Monday, October 31, 2022. The application form and background information can be found below:
