Information for Housing Providers
The Regional Municipality of York is responsible for the administration of community housing in York Region.
Community housing providers are responsible for the day-to-day operation of their buildings and administrative duties such as subsidy calculations delegated to them by the Region. Housing Providers must comply with the requirements set out in the Housing Services Act, 2011 or their operating or contribution agreements, as well as local rules set by York Region.
