Thanksgiving greetings from York Region

On behalf of York Regional Council and The Regional Municipality of York, I extend my warmest wishes to all residents for a happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving weekend.

Thanksgiving is a time to pause and appreciate the people and communities that make York Region such a special place to call home. From neighbours helping neighbours to the many people who volunteer, serve and give back, our communities are strengthened by the care people show for one another.

As we gather with family and friends, let us also remember those who may be experiencing a difficult time or who may be feeling alone this weekend. A simple gesture of kindness or connection can make a meaningful difference.

May this Thanksgiving be an opportunity to reflect on what we are grateful for, enjoy time with those who matter most and look ahead with hope for the future of our communities.

Wishing you and your loved ones a safe, happy and peaceful Thanksgiving.
