IN THE MATTER OF an application by The Regional Municipality of York for approval to expropriate lands being:
All Right, Title and Interest (Fee Simple)
- All of PIN 03624-1721 (LT)
Part Lot 86, Concession 1 (WHIT), designated as Part 1 on Plan 65R-15596 save & except Part 1 on Plan D915, in the Town of Aurora, in the Regional Municipality of York; and - All of PIN 03194-0272 (LT)
Part Lot 35, Concession 3 Markham, designated as Part 1 on Plan 64R-955, in the City of Richmond Hill, in the Regional Municipality of York;
for the municipal purposes of facilitating the development, construction and operation of the North York Durham Sewage System (“North YDSS”) Expansion Program and works ancillary there to, as part of the York Region sewage works project.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that application has been made for approval to expropriate the interests in the lands described hereinbefore.
Pursuant to Section 44 of the Supporting Growth and Housing in York and Durham Regions Act, 2022, S.O. 2022, c. 21, Sched. 10, the hearing procedure set out in subsections 6 (2) to (5) and sections 7 and 8 of the Expropriations Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. E.26 does not apply to this application for approval to expropriate as the lands described herein are project lands required for the purposes of developing, constructing or operating the North YDSS Expansion Program and the expropriation is related to the York Region sewage works project.
