Notice of Study Commencement and Open House

The Regional Municipality of York is conducting a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study - Schedule B process to explore the water systems and servicing needs for the north Markham community in the City of Markham.

The study will consider infrastructure requirements and locations to provide reliable water servicing for residents and businesses to 2051.

You are invited to the first Open House to review and comment on:

1. Environmental Assessment Study process for this project
2. Options for water servicing

When: Monday, July 27, 2026, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
