Notice of Temporary Road Closure - Mulock Drive between Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue

Transportation improvements prepare York Region to meet the needs of motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and transit users today and into the future. Mulock Drive between Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue in the Town of Newmarket will be temporarily closed for Metrolinx to rehabilitate the railway tracks.

Description:

• Mulock Drive between Yonge Street and Bayview Avenue in the Town of Newmarket will be temporarily closed for railway rehabilitation
• This closure is in partnership with Metrolinx as part of their railway track rehabilitation program

Duration:

Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 10 p.m. to Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 7 p.m.

Impact to Travellers:

• All traffic will need to detour around the closure
• Signs will be in place to guide travellers
• Local traffic will be maintained and entrances to businesses will remain open; traffic will be unable to cross Mulock Drive at the railway tracks travelling from Bayview Avenue
• GO train schedules will not be impacted

As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
