Road Rehabilitation Work on Davis Drive

York Region is removing and replacing asphalt road surface on Davis Drive from Highway 48 to York Durham Line. Culvert replacement and repairs will be done to allow water to flow freely under driveways. Property owners will be contacted by the contractor prior to driveway culvert work. Guiderails will be repaired and replaced to provide a barrier between the roadway and potential hazards. The work also includes cleaning roadside ditches. A temporary road closure is required to complete this work.

Duration: July to November 2026

Impacts to Travellers

• Temporary lane closures are required:
  • Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Traffic personnel will direct vehicles when required
• A temporary road closure is required for one weekend on Davis Drive from Ninth Line to York Durham Line for paving operations
• A formal notice of temporary road closure will be issued when closure dates are confirmed
• Access to homes and businesses will be maintained 

As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible. Thank you for your patience during the construction period.
