Tree removal notice for Nobleton Water Treatment Plant
York Region is enhancing the water infrastructure and building the new Nobleton Water Treatment Plant to continue to provide reliable and high-quality water services to the Nobleton community.
Duration: June 2026 to winter 2028
To accommodate construction of the new, larger Nobleton Water Treatment Plant, it is necessary to remove trees from the Region’s Nobleton Well 5 facility located at 12860 Highway 27, Nobleton. Workers will begin to remove the trees this summer.
Tree removal work will be done under the guidance of a certified arborist. The work is being completed with the Township of King and complies with all local bylaws; all necessary permits have been granted. Following removal of the trees, construction of the new water treatment plant will start.
As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. We understand construction is disruptive. Thank you for your patience while we complete this important work.
