IN THE MATTER OF an application by The Regional Municipality of York for approval to expropriate land being:

All Right, Title and Interest (Fee Simple)
All of PIN 03194-0510 (LT)
Part of West Half of Lot 31, Concession 3, designated as Part 2 on Plan 64R-6190, except Part 2 on Plan 65R-25186, Markham, City of Richmond Hill, Regional Municipality of York;

for the municipal purposes of facilitating the development, construction and operation of the North York Durham Sewage System (“North YDSS”) Expansion Program and works ancillary thereto, as part of the York Region sewage works project.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that application has been made for approval to expropriate the interest in the land described hereinbefore.

Pursuant to Section 44 of the Supporting Growth and Housing in York and Durham Regions Act, 2022, S.O. 2022, c. 21, Sched. 10, the hearing procedure set out in subsections 6 (2) to (5) and sections 7 and 8 of the Expropriations Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. E.26 does not apply to this application for approval to expropriate as the lands described herein are project lands required for the purposes of developing, constructing or operating the North YDSS Expansion Program and the expropriation is related to the York Region sewage works project.
