Upgrades coming to Nobleton Water Resource Recovery Facility

In the Township of King

York Region is upgrading the Nobleton Water Resource Recovery Facility to efficiently treat more wastewater, supporting community growth and the environment. New treatment technology includes improved tanks, filters and UV disinfection systems. The building, equipment and electrical systems are also being upgraded.

Duration: Spring 2026 to Fall 2028

Impacts

There is no impact to your water or wastewater services
Access to all homes and buildings will be maintained
As with all construction projects, some work may be re-scheduled due to weather or other conditions
There will be some construction-related noise and dust, though every effort to minimize this will be made
