Intersection Improvements on Bathurst Street at Milner Gate and Chabad Gate

York Region is upgrading traffic signals at Bathurst Street and Milner Gate/Chabad Gate and installing new infrastructure to improve accessibility. Upgrades will help manage increasing traffic volumes and keep the road in a good state of repair.

Duration: June 2026 to September 2026

Impacts to Travellers

The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane restrictions are required:

• Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Access to homes and businesses will be maintained. 

As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
