Volunteers needed for the York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee

Are you a York Region resident with a disability or is an accessibility champion in your community? Or do you work with York Region residents with disabilities?

York Region is actively seeking six new resident members to serve on the York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee for the 2027 to 2030 term. This important volunteer opportunity is available to York Region residents at least 18 years old or individuals who represent organizations that provide services to York Region residents with disabilities.

Who is eligible to join the committee?

• York Region residents with disabilities
• York Region residents with special interest in accessibility issues
• Individual who works with York Region residents with disabilities
