Celebrating Child Care Workers and Early Childhood Educators
October 21 is Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day!
Early Childhood Educators are highly skilled and dedicated professionals who are committed to nurturing the social, emotional, and cognitive skills children need to become lifelong learners, while also supporting the well-being of families in our communities.
This year’s theme is “Care Counts” which recognizes the importance of care in early learning settings and the pride that ECEs and early learning professionals feel in their work. Care is the foundation for everything we do. It helps children feel safe, valued, and supported, and it creates the conditions necessary for learning, growth, and success. Quite simply, there is no education without care.
This important work inspires young minds and builds strong communities for our future. We thank our early learning professionals for the dedication, commitment and hard work they do every day.
