Notice of Geotechnical Ground Studies

York Region will be conducting geotechnical ground studies, including borehole drilling, which will provide information about the groundwater near the Keswick West Park Heights Water Storage Facility in the Town of Georgina. York Region is developing a new water storage facility to replace aging infrastructure which will maintain reliable water supply for the Keswick community.

Duration: Fall to December 2026

Impacts

• No planned impact on water or wastewater services
• Access to all homes and buildings will be maintained
• There will be construction-related noise from the equipment and trucks, every effort to minimize this will be made

As with all construction projects, some work may be rescheduled due to weather or other conditions; York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
