York Region offices and facilities will be closed or operate with limited holiday hours during the last two weeks of December. Up-to-date information on holiday hours can be found below.

Important changes and updates over the holiday will be shared on Facebook and X (Twitter).

Administrative Offices

  • Thursday, December 25 to Thursday, January 1: CLOSED

Regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. resume as of Friday, January 2  

Contact Centre

  • Thursday, December 25: CLOSED
  • Friday, December 26: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  
  • Saturday, December 27: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  
  • Sunday, December 28: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  
  • Monday, December 29: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  
  • Tuesday, December 30: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  
  • Wednesday, December 31: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Enjoy FREE travel after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31 on all YRT and TTC routes operating north of Steeles Avenue in York Region. Service will be extended on select YRT routes until approximately 4 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2026.
