West Don River Bridge Rehabilitation

York Region is rehabilitating the West Don River Bridge located on Highway 7, east of Keele Street, in the City of Vaughan. The bridge allows water to pass freely under the road. This work will extend the lifespan of the bridge before major construction is required.

Duration: May 2026 to December 2026

Impacts to Travellers

• Work will occur Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• The road will remain open to through traffic, with two lanes in each direction
• Speed limit will be reduced to 40 km/h

As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
