Thinking about a career in Public Works? Want to join our team as a Transportation Maintenance Worker? 

We’re looking to hire multiple people for this seasonal role. Employment contracts are six months, from mid-October 2026 to April 2027. 

If you have a DZ license and experience operating machinery, this is the job for you! 

Under the direction of our Roads Supervisor and Lead Operator, you will use your experience with specialized equipment to help us repair and maintain York Region’s roads to keep residents safe.
