Intersection Improvements Coming to Lloydtown-Aurora Road

York Region is improving the intersection of Lloydtown-Aurora Road and 8th Concession in the Township of King. The work will eliminate the existing service road, construct a dedicated southbound right turn lane at the intersection of 8th Concession and Lloydtown-Aurora Road and improve street lighting. This work will improve traffic flow and safety for all road users.

Duration: August 2026 to October 2026

Impacts to Travellers

• Work will occur Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane restrictions are required Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Traffic personnel will direct traffic when required 

As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
