Road rehabilitation on Pine Valley Drive from Highway 7 to Langstaff Road

York Region is removing and replacing the asphalt road surface on Pine Valley Drive from Highway 7 to Langstaff Road in the City of Vaughan. The project also includes intersection improvements at Pine Valley Drive and Villa Park Drive/Embassy Drive, such as upgrading traffic signals and installing new infrastructure to improve accessibility. These upgrades will help manage increasing traffic volumes and keep the road in a good state of repair. Additional work involves repairing and relining culverts to allow water to flow freely under the road, relining storm sewers, and repairing catch basins.

Duration: June to fall 2026

Impacts to Travellers

The road will remain open to through traffic; however, temporary lane closures are required:

• Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Access to homes and businesses will be maintained

As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
