Construction on Prospect Street and Water Street to Davis Drive

York Region is working to preserve Prospect Street from Gorham Street/Water Street to Davis Drive in the Town of Newmarket. As part of this project, York Region’s contractor is completing repairs and adjustments to manholes and catch basins.

Beginning mid-May, work will occur:

• Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Night work Monday to Saturday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane reductions are required.

Access to homes and businesses will be maintained.

As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
