Weston Road Rehabilitation

York Region is removing and replacing asphalt road surface on Weston Road from 16th Sideroad to Lloydtown-Aurora Road in the Township of King. We will also be repairing and replacing culverts that allow water to flow freely under the road. Two temporary road closures are required to facilitate the replacement of culverts.

Duration: June to August 2026

Impacts to Travellers

The road will remain open to through traffic; however, temporary lane closures are required:

• Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Temporary road closures are required two Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to replace culverts located on Weston Road:
  • Between 16th Sideroad and 17th Sideroad
  • Between 17th Sideroad and 18th Sideroad
• A formal notice of temporary road closure will be issued when closure dates are confirmed 
• Access to homes and businesses will be maintained 

As with all construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
