Newmarket – York Region Transit (YRT) service changes will take effect Sunday, April 27, 2025. Schedule and route changes are made to meet changing customer demand.

- Routes servicing Major Mackenzie West Terminal: restructuring and updating schedules to exit via Amusement Drive
- Routes 320 – Jane Express and 360 – Vaughan Mills/Wonderland: updating to reflect Vaughan Mills and Canada’s Wonderland business hours
- Route 40 – Unionville: renaming to Route 40 – Unionville Local
- Routes 25 – Major Mackenzie, 50 – Queensway, 54 – Bayview, 55 – Davis and 96 – Keele-Yonge: adjusting to improve connections with GO Transit trains

Help shape the 2026 Annual Transit Plan
Starting Sunday, May 4 to Sunday, June 1, 2025, YRT is hosting public consultations for the 2026 Annual Transit Plan. Travellers are invited to comment virtually or in-person on the draft plan which includes future improvements to services, facilities, routes and programs.
Staff will be available at select transit terminals and venues like libraries and community centres in each local city or town. Dates, locations and times, along with virtual participation opportunities, are available at yrt.ca/TransitPlan
