York Region continuing pothole repairs amid spring cleanup
With the weather getting warmer, York Region’s road crews are diligently continuing their pothole repair efforts while beginning their spring cleanup operations. This work is crucial for ensuring safe and smooth travel for all travellers.
Spring cleanup involves removing debris accumulated over the winter months, including litter and vegetation that can impact road safety. During this work, crews continue to identify and tackle pothole repairs.
So far this year, our crews have filled over 9,400 potholes, compared to 8,500 potholes at the same time last year. This increase in repairs highlights our commitment to ensuring our roads are well-maintained and safe for all users.
We thank all residents and motorists for your patience as we work to improve and cleanup our roads.
