Notice of Temporary Lane Reduction on Stouffville Road

York Region will be completing a deficiency repair as part of the Stouffville Watermain Emergency Project. Due to current site constraints and equipment requirements a temporary lane restriction on Stouffville Road is required to complete the repair safely and efficiently 
 
Duration: Monday, June 1, 2026 to Sunday, June 7, 2026

Impacts to travellers

Although no major service impacts are anticipated, travellers may experience the following:  

• Stouffville Road between McCowan Road and Highway 48 will be reduced to one eastbound lane during active work
• Signage will be in place to guide travellers

As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather. York Region will provide advance notice where possible.
