Items in good condition can be donated to charity at select donation centres. Acceptance of items is at the discretion of the charity. Damaged items can be recycled as scrap metal at select York Region Waste Facilities.

Curbside collection may also be available. Check with your local municipality for more information.

York Region is partnering with Markham Cycles and Newmarket Cycles to collect used bikes, teach people how to fix them and get them back on the road where they belong; donate bikes to this program at McCleary Court and Elgin Mills Community Environmental Centres.

Tip: This item can be repaired at a bike repair shop.
