Kennedy Road closure and construction notice in East Gwillimbury

Newmarket – The Regional Municipality of York is scheduling a road closure of Kennedy Road north of Mount Albert Road in the Town of East Gwillimbury from Tuesday July 4, 2023 until Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

The closure is required to replace the bridge.

The road closure will ensure the work is completed as quickly, efficiently and safely as possible. Access to all properties will be maintained during this closure. Residents and businesses to the north of the bridge can only access Kennedy Road from Doane Road and those to the south, only from Mount Albert Road.

As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions. York Region will provide advance notice when possible.
