YRT service changes take effect Sunday, November 5, 2023
Newmarket – York Region Transit (YRT) service changes will take effect on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Schedule and route adjustments will be made on select routes to match customer demand.
Service changes effective Sunday, November 5, 2023 include:
- Viva blue, purple/purple A and orange will have frequency improvements to support ridership recovery and the Frequent Transit Network
- Route 83A – Trench limited service along Dunlop Street will be discontinued due to low ridership; travellers can continue using Mobility On-Request Richmond Hill Local
