Street Outreach

The Street Outreach Van (operated by Loft/Crosslinks) provides mobile services for homeless or street involved people at no cost. York Region Public Health is one of several community partnering agencies that provide services through the Street Outreach Van.

What We Provide

The Street Outreach Van provides services for people who are street involved, homeless and at risk of being homeless at convenient locations throughout York Region.

Services include:

  • Mental health and addiction resources
  • Crisis support, intervention and prevention
  • Information on needle exchange and injection drug use
  • Referrals to shelters and other community supports
  • Sexual health information and resources

The van is equipped with:

  • Food
  • Clothing and shoes
  • Sleeping bags, tents, tarps and blankets
  • Needle exchange supplies


This program is provided at no cost.


Seven days a week from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
