1. Local Municipal Broadband Initiatives
The Task Force received an overview of broadband-oriented initiatives within each of the local municipalities from Dino Basso, Commissioner of Corporate Services.

The Task Force recommends receipt of the presentation by Doug Lindeblom, Director of Economic Strategy regarding “Broadband and Innovation Summit Recap”.
3. York Telecom Network Update
The Task Force recommends receipt of the presentation by John Swan, Director of Information Technology Services regarding “York Telecom Network Update”.
4. Broadband Case Studies [3.5 MB]
The Task Force recommends receipt of the presentation by Dr. Rick Huijbregts, Managing Director, Americas, Industry Digitization and Solutions and Canada VP, Industry Transformation and Innovation, and Ron Gordon, Cisco regarding “Broadband Case Studies” addressing the digital age.

5. Dates and Topics for Future Meetings
The Task Force recommends receipt of the “Dates and Topics for Future Meetings” presented by Dino Basso, Director of Corporate Services.

6. Identification of Opportunities
The Task Force addressed the following areas for future discussion:
- A review of the scope and scale of current infrastructure and its possibilities
- A progress report and critical path for each planned activity, including participants and financial implications
- A business case for using a shared digital infrastructure to realize efficiencies among local municipalities and a business case for economic development
